Health officials: 456 new COVID-19 cases in B.C.

B.C. health officials reported 456 new cases of COVID-19 in the province today, and two new deaths.
Two of the new cases are epidemiologically linked. There are 4,668 active cases and 7,924 people under active public health monitoring.
Of the new cases, 108 are in the Vancouver Coastal Health region (including Richmond), 259 in the Fraser Health region, 35 in the Island Health region, 30 in the Interior Health region, 20 in the Northern Health region and four in people who live outside Canada.
There are 237 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 64 of whom are in intensive care. There were no new healthcare facility outbreaks announced and one existing outbreak was declared over. Eleven active outbreaks remain in long-term care or assisted living facilities and six in acute care facilities.
To date, 230,875 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in B.C., 62,608 of which are second doses.
